Dr. Kathleen B. Moore has been in private practice since 1987 diagnosing and treating disorders of the eyes and visual system in patients of all age groups. A native of Fairfax County, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia, and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Optics and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Moore was awarded for excellence in contact lens studies and was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa, the National Honor Society. Her research on contact lenses has been published in the Journal of the American Optometric Association and she is past President of the Northern Virginia Optometric Society. Dr. Moore believes that the healthiest patients are the most informed patients and does not hesitate to answer any questions. She is available for consultations.
Dr. Kelly L. Hale grew up in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State, she was a member of the Pre-medical Honor Society, the Mortar Board Leadership Society, and Omicron Delta Kappa. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Optics and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994.
Dr. Hale graduated first in her optometry class, was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa Scholastic Honor Society, and served as President of Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. She received awards for Clinical Excellence, for Contact Lens Expertise, and for Vision Therapy Performance. Dr. Hale especially enjoys primary care, contact lens fitting, and pediatric examinations.
Dr. Stacey E. Simms has been practicing in northern Virginia since 2004 specializing in primary care as well as pre and post operative care of LASIK and cataract patients. A native of Loudoun County, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. She earned a Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
